Marketplace Management 2

Linked Products

What is the Marketplace Linked Products section about?

The goals of the Marketplace Linked Products section are:

  • Enable CRM to send inventory information to the marketplace, by including the new products sold in the marketplace, from the ones already set up in the CRM instance, under the Products section.
  • Linked CRM SKUs with the Marketplace SKUs of the same products, so when eOne imports orders into CRM to be fulfilled, the system matches the SKUs and sends the order to the warehouse to be fulfilled.

Where is it located?

  1. Log into CRM, go to the left side menu
  2. Click on Marketplace Management
  3. Then click on Marketplace Linked Products.

Virtual SKUs are the ones that:

  • Have not been configured on the Products section of CRM, but are available in a warehouse.
  • In the Products section inside the warehouse settings page, does not have the actions buttons (see the below example)image117

In order to add those virtual products into CRM, without the need to do it manually, users can benefit from the Linked product with Virtual SKU button of this section, to automatically create the products into the Products section of CRM.

Therefore, please follow the below steps to take:

  1. Type the SKU number in the Product field and select a similar SKU product from the list that has a similar Virtual SKU (see the below example)image119

and so

2. Click on the Linked product with Virtual SKU button and a small tab will pop up, and the user can select the Marketplace, which is necessary only to create the SKU - this will not add the product to the marketplace chosenimage123

3. Click on Save and the product will be created inside CRM so when the product is added inside the warehouse settings page, the product will display the actions button on its right sideimage125

How the Inventory synchronization works between Marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart & Shopify) & CRM

The Inventory synchronization between Amazon/Shopify & CRM

Please find attached below the steps to enable the inventory synchronization between Amazon/Shopify & CRM.

Please note that once the below setup is done, the Inventory is synced between CRM and AMZ/Shopify every 15 minutes.

For Shopify

The initial step is to sync the orders from Shopify to CRM.

  1. Install the eOne app in the Shopify Store
  2. Import the products from Shopify to CRM via eOne

For more information about this, please refer to the Helpdesk article: How to install the eOne in the Shopify Online Store having a dedicated CRM instance & Your Products

  • image150 It’s import to highlight that if the eOne app hasn’t been installed yet in the Shopify Store, this store won’t be listed in the Linked Products section (see the below example)image151

For Amazon & Walmart

The initial step is to sync the products/SKUs from CRM to Amazon | Walmart by using the Linked Products section, which is also the first point to initiate the inventory synchronization between CRM and the marketplace (Amazon | Walmart).

1. Add the product/SKU in the Linked Products Sections

Including products in the CRM Marketplace section, is a fundamental step to having the Marketplace orders be synced and fulfilled by CRM.

When SKUs are imported into the Marketplace (Amazon, Shopify, or Walmart), instantly, the Marketplace will start to show the item at the checkout and the marketplace orders are synced to CRM to be fulfilled.

Let’s start by linking the SKUs in the CRM Marketplace Management section, by following the below steps.

  1. Log in to CRM and go to the left-side menu
  2. Go to Marketplace Management>Linked Products
  3. Select the Marketplaceimage153

and the Storeimage155

4. Add the product/SKUimage157

For more information about this, please refer to the Helpdesk article: Linked Products

2. Set up the warehouses for the Marketplace in the Marketplace Map section

In the Marketplace Map section, the user needs to pick the CRM warehouses that are going to provide the Inventory information in the marketplace as well as fulfilled the marketplace orders placed and imported in CRM.

In order to do so, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to CRM left-side menu
  2. Then go to Marketplace Management> Marketplace Mapimage159
  3. Select the Marketplaceimage161
  4. Add the Warehouse(s) to the Marketplaceimage163
  5. Check that the Warehouse is active by going to the CRM left side menu, and then Warehouse Management> select the WH> the toggle Is Active needs to be ONimage165
  6. Turn ON the Sync Inventory toggleimage167
  7. Turn ON the Order Fulfillment toggleimage169
  8. Add the buffer quantity in the related field Buffer Quantity, which is a quantity deducted from every product quantity available at the Warehouseimage171

For example:

  • Product_1 has 100 units at the Warehouse
  • The buffer quantity in the Marketplace Map is set up to 20
  • On Amazon/Shopify, the product quantity available is 80 units.

image052 Please be also advised that:

  • The Buffer Quantity set up in the Marketplace applies to all products available in the Warehouse
  • To configure a Buffer Quantity for ONLY one specific SKU, users has to do it in the Warehouse Settings page. For more information, just check the article: [PART 2] The Warehouse Settings page & how to create or edit a warehouse.
  • If users set up the Buffer Quantity in both Marketplace and Warehouse, the Warehouse buffer quantity will always override the one set up in the Marketplace Map page.
